AUX Cable
Hi all,
First post here. Very informative forum.
I would like to know if there is a recommended type/brand of cable to use to connect my MP3 player. I have a Sansa, not an IPOD, and I tried to use a cable that I have and I can't hear anything at all from the speakers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

AUX Streo Cable
I just bought an AUX Stereo cable (Gold-coated) at Raido Shack. Stereo Cable has two lines on its jack. I tried my iPod with it and it's working.
In my case, to hear sound, I did maximize the volume of iPod. Hope it will help.

I went to Radio Shack and they told me that the cable I had was the correct one. I tried it again, and sure enough, to hear it I had to turn the volume up on the MP3 player to max and then turn the car volume control up, too. The sound is great, but I wish that this wasn't the work around. I have to remember to turn the volume down in the car before changing modes. I'm also dreading when a call comes in when listening to the MP3 with the volume up that high. The ring is gonna bust my ears!
