It vaguely annoys me when I see people who park with their wheels up against parking blocks anyways.. they're meant to keep you from driving onto the sidewalk, yet some people just drive forward into the parking space until their car bangs into them. Are you really that terrible of a driver that you can't figure out when you're in a parking space and come to a full stop?

I thought I was the only one that thought this lol. How can you blame MB for you're carelessness and lack of attention when parking your car. That's like saying you parked too close to a wall, opened your door and scratched it against the wall...Damn car dealer for not making the car narrower! LOL

Way back, when I drove American cars, the accepted practice was to drive into a parking space and stop when the front wheels hit the parking blocks. Of course then the parking blocks were 1) not as high as the underside of the car, and 2) placed far enough back from the sidewalk so that the front bumper was perfectly aligned with the curb. Very simple really!

I actually had the same problem not to long ago it even bent the bumper from underneath as I was pulling out, not to mention scratched everything. It also for some reason poped out my left hand side reflector....not sure why...
