Thanks guys, ur right though I was just worried because this is my first brand new car and wanted to make sure I was'nt geting ripped off. I called my sales guy and he really wanted me to take the car, so he threw in the Rim and Tire Insurance and took off $500.00. Its not much but it made me happy he gave me something. Couple more days to go and the car is here.

Taking Delivery
Received call from my sales that my car is in! Obsidian black C350 4matic with 18"AMGs. Will arrange to pick up early next week. Have to bring my set of 17"AMG with winters for the dealer to swap and save my 18" for better road condition. Can't get rid of my C43 until all the modifications are done, then I have to kiss my C43 goodbye. I have to get use to the V6, a sacrifice for better winter traction, oh well.

chrome door handle
Paid my car a visit today and comfirm my suspicion that chrome door handle is part of the keyless go feature. Looks nice with Obsidian black. Will take delivery next week.

HI all,
I'm awaiting delivery for a 350 4matic,
At my order time in September the 18" AMG wheels were not an option (at least not an affordable option anyway
) But i checked the Mercedes-benz canada site today and the 18" wheels are now a $1500 option for the 4matic cars. My car is supposedly on the boat, and arriving early-mid march...... you think the $1500 wheels upgrade is a possibility for me?

Finally Pick up my car today
Picked up my car today at Markham Mercedes. Seems to have a lot of C class in the dealership. C230 seems to be a popular model and a lot of people are browsing. Apparently the winter mats are still in back order here in Toronto. I am using my set of C43 winter mats for now and they fit almost perfectly. Drove around a bit . . . . .
-what I like -- playing with the COMAND unit
-what I don't like -- 1. the seat is too flat and provide minimal side support (I had multiple contour sports seats in my C43, much better seats), 2. lack of acceleration(which I have to get use to) and steering seems to be too light(compare with my daughters Bimmer 330xi).
I am waiting for the front and rear park sensor kit from Midcity Engineering and Nightvision from NAV-TV.
To be installed (not in order) :-
1. Hella tire pressure monitoring system
2. Front and back illuminated sills
3. Video in Motion (NAV-TV W204 vim)
4. Rearview camera (NAV-TV W204-pgm/Pioneer backup camera)
5. Midcity Engineering front and back parking sensors and display
6. PathFindIR Nightvision camera
7. 35% tint of side windows and back
8. Front end clear bra
9. Boomerang tracking
Still debating over :-
- front grill painted body color (Obsidian Black)
- something to be done to reflector of outside rear mirrors
- very slightly darken rear light (only red lens)
