Age's of C300/C350 Drivers

I'm one of the over the hill gang @ 55 years young...
I'm also amazed at the number of young people with Mercedes and BMW's - my first car was a 1960 VW I paid $35 for in 1970 and rebuilt over a summer, then used as a delivery vehicle to earn enough to go to university. I'm guessing I was just as proud of that as some of the young forum members are of their new Mercedes. I pretty well stuck to used vehicles until the mortgage was paid; I love cars and have owned about 15 different ones over the years, but they truly are moneypits when I look back on 40 years of car ownership. I now spend enough on a car to get into a vehicle that is well engineered, handles well and suits my needs - hence the C300 4matic plus an SLK230 for summer (also bought used). I can understand going into debt to buy a house, but not a car... but that's just my "old man" opinion.

I am 23 and own my 2nd MB that i bought myself, my truck i bought through my own company (technically still part owned by my dad but will be mine 100% soon enough) so same difference really, i also have 4 other cars under my company including a 2007 F-150, 2008 C350(different one than my own bought 2 at the same time at the dealer, yea he loved my after that especially after getting my cls from him, lol), a 2008 Audi Q7 and a 2005 Infiniti G35. Its an Engineering company btw split up into 2 different companies, its a lot of hard work but it def. pays off in the end!

You are absolutely right, some times I feel guilty of how much money I had spend on cars and MOD

Congrats to all you youngsters.... 
My first ride was a faded green '69 Pontiac Catalina with a rusted out exhaust...with the 440ci smallblock, it was probalby about as fast as the C300, but at about 8 miles per gallon hard to keep on the road.
It is nice to see I made the same choice as such a young demographic.

Lets see now - I'm currently heading towards 27 and started driving C-classes a few years back as a lease. It was my gift to myself for finishing my undergraduate degree. Now that I've saved up, have a pretty darn good job for my age, and am persuing my masters degree, I decided to purchase my '08 C300... not a day goes by where I don't smile and thank my stars that I've been fortunate enough to pick the right paths in life up to now.

rb23.. ur way out of line sayin this 18 y/o kid cant afford a c class and he must be a drug dealer.. 1st of all its a c class come on.. u talk like were drivin $80 grand cars.. i graduated high school when i was 17 and my 1st truck was brand new and i still own it the payments are just as much as my benz.. soo b4 u go jumpin down some1's throaght and accusing them, u need to think a lil bit
