do you own a sport or a luxury?

I think I already know the answer to this one..since mostly "enthusiasts" go to forums like this, but lets see the real results..
Post your car, and one sentence on why you chose sport vs luxury..

I own a luxury because I did NOT like the "aluminum foil" interior trim on the sport, and I like the grille/hood emblem better on the luxury..

2008 Mercedes C350 Saks Edition
I own the Saks 350 sport. I liked the meaner look of the sport from the grill, to the wheels and amg styling. With the interior on the Saks i still get the feel of the luxary with 2 tone leather and birds eye maple.

I also own The Saks 350 sport it has a more agreasive look, more power and the Sahara Full leather grain interior makes a more luxurious look than the LUX model

The "Sport Package" is a freebie upgrade in Canada right now... so it'd be even more rare to see a luxury model up here.

I wish I would have known about the "Saks" model before I bought my Lux..it sounds like that combines the nicer interior of the Luxury model with some extra's you cant get together otherwise..can someone with a "Saks" model post some interior pics if you get a chance, please?
thanks..

If I recall, the "sports" model is the STANDARD model in the states, and you pay MORE to get the Luxury model here...

Funny you should say that because I think the lux model with AMG kit looks far meaner than the sport, the sport looks kinda feminine, the last comment was my wifes which amazed me, she's not into cars at all.

In Canada, the sports model and the luxury model is the same price. The choice is up to the buyer. My salesman told me that most buyers were opting for the sports model.

I choose the sports model since the front-end of the luxury model does not appeal to me at all.

Not to mention that the Sport Pkg has larger brakes, a higher dampening rate and lower stance.

'08 C300 Lux Barolo Red Beige Leather P2 MM 18" wheels '84 944
Which model?

I bought the Lux (with Beige leather) because of the mandatory black interiors of the Sport models. Had the Saks model been available I would have considered it except I've never seen one with the P2 package which was a must for me. I still have not ruled out installing the Sport grille kit.

not for nothing but that 1 inch to some people makes a BIG difference ahem ahem ....seriously though some people out there mod out their cars with springs and whatnot to lower their cars for just that 1 inch so it does make a difference.

c300 sport
i really wish they had made the sport version just a tiny bit lower. there's still a decent amount of wheel gap.

and the drop is actually less than 1"... i think it's something like 0.7" actually. they should have made it 1-1.25"

The sport isn't mandatory with black. I got the grey/black interior, which in the sport model is identical to that of the Saks edition, except where the Saks edition is cream colored mine is grey. Don't confuse this with the grey for the lux models, they are just two shades of grey and not the sports grey/black combo.

I prefer the interior of the Lux, but it doesn't come in the 350, so the choice was easy.
