Side mirrors fold on non p1?

Does a c300 with no p1 have foldable side mirrors? I know it doesn't have auto folding mirrors but I would at least like to fold it manually when parked.

Am I the only one who ordered one without p1?

The answer to your first question is that I'm not sure.

The reason I'm not sure is because the answer to your second question is Yes...

They fold just manually. You have to push them.

Getting these cars without the packages is like buying a remote for your TV with just the power button. Options like Xenons are things that once you have you can never go without.

But you get more exercise getting up to change channels instead of just getting up to go to the fridge for a refill.

2008 C300 Sport Sedan Manual, Uridium Silver, 18" AMG's
No P1 on mine either. Actually wanted the P1 but a manual w/ Palladium Silver and AMG 18" became available (w/o the P1 on it)and so I took it anyways knowing I might have a tough time finding another manual available.

Only thing I really miss is the self dimming rearview mirror and Homelink button.

Enjoyed the auto sensing wipers on misty days on my 04 C230. Not too excited about the power folding mirrors nor the Sirius satellite radio.

The only thing I really wanted was the xenons but that one is p2. For me it was a matter of p2 or nothing. I figured I can always install xenons on my own.

Kind of ridiculous in my opinion for MB not to include the self dimming mirror and Homelink as standard equipment.

I'm actually surprised they didn't include these items as standard and make the Bluetooth part of the P1. Then I would have insisted on the P1 because the Bluetooth standard was one of my decisions to go w/ the C300 over the 328i (avail w/ Bluetooth at extra cost).
