What NOISES do you hear from the INTERIOR when driving with the radio off?

The heat related cracking sounds when the car sits in the hot sun, I have that, but I more or less expected it. No way to get around the dynamics of heated material, and the noises go away after a couple of miles.
I've heared the passenger side lower speaker rattle a bit over a road that has a lot of little bumps in it, although it hasn't done that again. As of 2 days ago I noticed that the driver's side high speaker grill rattles a bit, but it's disappeared in the last day. I go for my A service this weekend so I'll mention it.
Whatever is put together, slowly comes up-put over time.

Man RLE, you're lucky! Since yours is an early build, it's German built.
For everyone with the creaking/cracking/rattling complaints, are your cars German built or South African? My car is South African and I have most of the cracking noises as described in this thread(..and I say previously stated).
It'd be interesting to see if there's a correlation in creaking and where the car was built. One of my good friends has a South African built C350 with multimedia, and it has all the same sounds from the dashboard that mine does. Maybe even slightly more because of the Nav screen.

My car is a Germany built car. I also have the sounds coming from the Nav screen. I usually just keep it in the closed position when I drive since it would make less noise in the closed position. But it still makes noise!

I still have that creaking noise from both B-pillars. I have visited the local (monopoly) Hong Kong dealer for fixing the noise 4 times. They say it's a minor issue so I don't get a loaner car when I bring it in. The last time it took them 3 days, the noise did went away for another 2 days and the creaking sound came right back! F-king frustrating! Their attitude is OK, they are willing to help me, but every time the noise only disappears for 2 or 3 days at most after the SC visit.
OK, so my car is a wagon with the AMG pack sport suspension and 18inch wheels, which makes it one of the hardest-riding C-classes this side of a C63, but should these kind of creaking sounds develop after just 1 year?

I am happy to report that the only sound in the cabin of my C350 Elegance built in Germany (Sindelfingen) is the sound of silence. Then again, though roads are not too good in Argentina, where I have it, I almost never run over 200 Km/h (125 mph).
I am also convinced that MB is building two qualities of cars (standard and extra cost under different names) changing traditional policy.

Quiet one here... no noises... lux '08 from germany :-)...
That being said, I rarely drive anywhere without the radio on - but I did for a while just to check for everyone...

I think this car needs more insulation in the rear wheel wells - pop out your first aid kit cover or the one on the opposite side of your trunk and look at all the empty space in there.
My previous car (05 Acura TL) had styrofoam insulation filling these void spaces, and even a sort of felt finish on the plastic wheel well liners to cut down on road noise - that car was very quiet. The lack of attention to detail by MB is a bit disappointing.

I know on the newer models of the C class, Mercedes made some changes to the interior in attempts to sound proof it better and make it creak less. I know friends with newer 2009 models and they don't have the same creaking as I do. We opened up some of their interiors and noticed there was felt placed in strategic places. I suppose that helps with making the creaking go away.
