1st day of production untill delivery ( how long?)
The title pretty much explains it!
my salesman called me up and told me Production starts today for my car.
In about how long will i get my car?
i'm in canada if it helps.
and how long did it take for your cars from the first day of production till delivery?

From the time mine was built till the time I picked it up it took two weeks, give or take a day. The actual car arrives from the boat sooner than that, but it must pass customs before they can transport it to the dealer. Your in Canada so I'm not sure if they send Canadian cars to a port inside Canada or if all North American cars go to Baltimore first. If thats the case, your car might have to pass customs in Baltimore and then again when it enters the Canadian border. Might also want to factor in weather now, bad roads slow all transit down.

If builit in Germany, it will go to Halifax, then it clears customs and then it goes on a freight train and shipped to a distribution yard. Then it will be shipped out by truck to the various dealerships across canada.
In my, once arrived in Halifax, it took about 3 weeks, it was delayed half week because of high volume at customs, and a couple of days at the dealership as I had tinting & clear bra put on it.
I would say in your case, from start of production to dealership will be about 4 weeks out. If your dealer told you 2 weeks away, the car is probaly built aleady and on the ship already.
