Picked it up 4 days ago.... I dont really know if its what I want... Anybody want it? Ill be going back to an audi S4

two different cars...why?
I gotta say those are two different cars. One is awd, one isn't. One is sporty, the other sports. One is much stiffer, tuned, etc., the other isn't. I'd a preferred the s4 too if I coulda swung it, but couldn't - or more realistically, didn't want to swing it for the cost/value.
So I gotta ask, why get the Merc in the first instance?
and my advice? keep the merc for a year or two until the b8 s4 comes. Then trade to dealer or sell on your own. Right now you'd only be buying the outgoing b7 s4 anyway. That is, unless you thought about getting the dead sexy S5???

The merc dont get me wrong is just an incredible car. Im not eager to get rid of it ... Ive had 6 cars in the last 2 years.. And I feel like the audi was the best option. (and mosy fun) Its not really buyers remorse because I dont feel bad about buying this car at all. The C300 is a beautiful car...

If you are a real car nut as you stated (changed 6 cars in 2 years and want to get rid of the C in less than a week), I would definitely wait for the B8. Both the exterior and interior of the B6 or even B7 are so dated now (I come from a B7) and I am unsure it will make you happier.
The B8 S4 will have a much better chassis with the turbo V6 setup and it will be a lot more fun and mod options than the current S4's V8. The look is also a killer with the LED front lighting setup and if I can wait (since my wife totaled the B7 in my another thread), it will be a diffcult choice for me to make between C or B8.
If you cannot wait, go for a S5 or A5 and you will definitely not regret again of your purchase.

2004 Audi S4 - looking at C300
ocrane - you may have just saved me a ton of disappointment. The lease on my B6 S4 is up in May so I have been looking around. The C-Class caught my eye and I spent some time at the local MB dealer last night. The wife and son really liked it and I was leaning towards the C300 manual which they indicated I would have to order so I would need to decide soon. I liked the feel of the C350 but losing power and manual trans at the same time was more than I could handle. Based on your experience I am a bit concerned that the C300 won't do it for me. The C63 would be a hoot but they didn't think they could find one in the timeframe I was looking for. I agree with your assesment on the B7 S4 (although the B7 RS$ is a hoot - they priced it a bit too high in my opinion). As for the waiting for the B8 S4, I fear they will do the same with that as they have with the S5 - tame it down a bit to allow more differentiation between S and RS. Let me know what you end up doing as you may have to be my automotive role model for the next few months.

As I mentioned in my post above, I just ordered my Artic White/Black, 6sp, P2 and pano.
Would you mind taking a few more pictures of the car and posting it? I've not seen any White with the pano and would love to get a better look at it. My car is arriving in April.
