Headlight Washers... Has the 2 slots in the front, but nothin comes out.

Headlight Washers... Has the 2 slots in the front, but nothin comes out.
K, so i got the 300 sport 4matic, and the day i got my car, i asked my dealer about the front headlight washer that comes with the car if it would come with my car iwas purchasing.
I only knew about this, from my sons watching videos and what not off the internet. My dealership said yes we get them, and when i loo kat the front of my car, there is a slot under each headlight, where the fluid would come out, but after i tested it out, i pressedthe windshiled fluid to come out 10 times,
but no headlight washer sprayed out.
??
do i have that option, or are those 2 slots there for looks.

P2 includes folding rear seats, bi xenon headlamps, headlight washers, and rear sunshade.

Those washer are messy, not sure what is the real purpose. I didn't have to press the windshield fluid 10 times to make it come out. Each time the washer spray the headlight, it just make it even dirtier. Good for tailgater but

The lights must be on. Page 112 in the Operator's Manual.

i guess i got the p2 pkg, cause my back seets fold in to make more trunk space, i dont got the video pkg, just got the regular display no navigation or any movies.

read the owners manual, lol, i never tried the washers with engine on, so thats why i didnt work :P

I thought the headlight washer nozzles come with the xenon lights. Make sure you have the headlights on when you try it.
We, in Canada, drive through misty weather and the whole front of the car can be covered in ice. When your MB Star, on the hood, is covered in ice, you know you are in Canada.
Under these conditions, the washer fluid sprayed on the headlights does not really clean the headlights, but this prevents them from being covered in ice.
By the way, when in operation and on the road, the spray goes all over the hood too, but who cares.
