Voice activated dialing

Maybe I'm missing something here and need to RTFM, but I really can't figure this out:

While MM is on the Phone setting, I hit the voice command button and give it a name that I want it to dial for me. It finds the name then it asks...

"Home or Work...Landline, Mobile, or Car"?

And if I say either home or work, it asks me "Landline, Mobile, or Car"

I just want it to dial the person's damn home, work or cell number. Even if I have just a single number for an entry it cant find it. Even my phone understands when I give it a voice command and say "Call <first, last> Mobile". Why can't this???

Exactly same situation this morning when I tried, appreantly you need to assign the numbers to home & work and then mobile or landline etc..

I am thinking there must be a better way of doing this?? anyone?

A short cut to navigate to an address that has a phone book entry is to say:

<Navigate to "voicetag" >

so I was like saying:

< Dial "voicetag" >

but it didn't work.

Let's share some voice commands here?

I also find it extremely frustrating. I just use the steering wheel control, I go to PHONE, then use the up or down arrow to find the name, and then pick the mobile or work or home number myself.

Slightly less efficient, yet works much better.
