Cd changer delay on start
I have a non-MM 6 disc changer.
Every time I start the car after its been sitting for more than an hour or so (i.e. every morning), the cd changer goes though a “loading disc” cycle that takes about 40 seconds before the music starts playing.
Is this normal? Could someone with a non-MM and a 6 disc changer check if they also have this problem?

I feel you, I have MM and every time loads up the cd,

I don't know about our W204, but I do know that my W221 does not do this. I can go from CD to SAT to Radio and back to CD and it resumes the music right where it left off. Also, on the W204 , you can't enter Nav data while the car is in motion yet I can on my W221. This is extremely annoying!!!! A software upgrade hopefully will allow for this. I don't understand why the two cars are so different yet made by the same company.
