Hi everyone i am new here. Great place came across it through a google search.

question for everyone out there. I recently bought a c350 4 matic in obsidian black. Looks awesome from pics that i have seen. However i noticed that the c300 rims a 5 stars and the c350 rims are 6 spoke. is it possible to get the dealer to switch the rims? and how do i order the 18's instead. i will not be getting my new car for another 2 months. i know it sucks not much i can do since i have to wait for it to be built.

Your questions are up to the dealer. Just because it might have happened to someone on the forum doesn't mean yours will do it. Ask.

Same goes for the 18" rims. Were they on your order sheet? If not; ask.

Look at your canuck MB website and see what is spec'd. Go from there with the above.

Really? You would ditch the 6 double-spoke AMG rims for the 5-spokes from the C300? Or did you want the 18" 5 double-spokes?

You'd probably be able to find someone with a C300 to swap rims with you. As for the 18" you should check with dealer.

Thanks for the response guys. i am going bonkers waiting for this car!!! from the looks of it i will not be getting it till late march or early April. vcruiser did you have to pay extra for the 18's?? and if so what is the model number and price added??

Peabers...after seeing the pic of your ride i am having my doubts of changing the rims. how much did you end up paying out the door? I bought a c350 4matic obsidian with the premium package. The dealer only managed to give me 1000 off the sticker.

Nope.
I'm really dissapointed.
I was ready to pay an extra 4-5 thousand for that interior. We tried everything possible but MB just wouldnt budge. They kept saying no.

I also reallo like that brownish/orange leather but its only offered in Europe i guess.

If the car was a buy and not a lease, i'd be hitting up a shop for a custom interior job.. but since i'd be giving it back. it's useless.

yeah they charged an additional 1000 or 1500.
i dont remember exactly.
it was tough getting the wheels tho.
because there wasnt enough supply for the demand and i was about to get the car with the 17s..but at the last day they pulled through!

thanks for the info. here is an update for you guys. i talked to my dealer and he mentioned that there was no where to pre-order the rims from factory. since the car is built how its built. however there may be something that they can do for me on the dealer end. they will try to find the rims that i like (18s 5 spoke amg) and buy back the rims on my car and then charge me the difference. if this is possible i hope that it doesnt exceed that 1500 range.

now my common sense kicks in....i decided to lease the vehicle with no money down (just works better for tax purposes). so i am really starting to wonder if this is worth me spending the extra dough on.

Ah! so you must be located in Canada
lucky! you get to have the C350 sport 4matic and I think you have the option for a keyless go?!?

do Canadian spec. cars have that reflector on the side?

going back to the subject,
you should be able to switch, but I guess it really depends on your dealer.

yeah the car is loaded keyless and everything else. not to sure about the reflector if you mean the turn signals on the side view mirrors than the answer is yes.
