Powdercoating Question
I have a White c300 w/ 18' AMG rims. I was thinking about powder coating the Stock Amg Rims in black. Its not that im trying to be cheap, i want to keep it as stock as possible. Is it worth it to powdercoat the oem rims, or should i just get a aftermarkets?

if you like your amg rims, then just powder coat. it should cost about $100 a wheel. i think it would look sweet! post pics if you end up doing it.

Hey thanks for replying. Its a toss up btwn black or white powder coat. I have a white with the pano roof, but im not to sure what color to go with.

if you really want to powdercoat, do it black and get a time attack in white.

time attack is a ring around the lip of the wheel!

it will give it contrast

I think it would look good if you left the machined (diamond cut) face alone with black. I was considering an anthracite or charcoal with the macined face.

I was thinking of doing the samething. powder coat the rims black and leave the center star gray

is a ///AMG badged CL500.
do it!!! either black or anthracite grey. either way its hot. itll look like the mb website.

I'm excited to see this as I have a white with Pano roof and 18 amg.

Is powder coat the only option or can you just have it painted?

BLACK!!!

LOADED 08' C350 & 14' GLK-350 Diamond White (P1, MM, AMG Pkg, Ln Trkng, Htd Sts, Keylss Go)
what is an example of what the finished product will look like with a black powdercoat ? Do they still have an alloy or chrome lip? Or is that what "machine-ing" does?
