Price in Europe and America
Hi guys..
I was wondering what kind of prices you paid for your C w204.
We paid nearly 50k euros for it. Its a C220 cdi with the AMG sports pack.
Comes out to 47.900 euros($70k) excluding the registrations fees..
Whats the price like in the states? I see a lot of people have the petrol C300, does it cost a lot less to drive compared to diesel?

The C300 is the C280 everywhere else, prices are between 32-44k USD. The C350 is 38-47k USD. Prices are for Avantgarde with AMG Sport Package, low prices with very minimal equipment, high prices with all available options. The cars are about half the price in the US as anywhere else in the world.

I guess they do need to adjust to local prices if they want them to sell in the states. But still.. here the C280 starting price is 38k and the C350 is 47k.. Thats the price in euros for the most equipt model in dollars in America.
Oh well, you win some you loose some. Its still a great car and worth the money.

The price in the US is half (or less) than the rest of the world pays in the case of the C350. A C350 in Europe that would cost 44k US through Euro delivery (or 47k domestic MSRP) is 61k Euro, roughly 90k US.
Anyone in the US who thinks MBs are expensive should simply not drive one.
