change my clock please

This is ridiculous but my dealer gave me the owners manual for a CLK rather than for my new C-Class. My clock is wrong and I can't figure out how to change it. Help!

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Scroll through the menu by using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. My date was wrong and I changed before I ever opened the owner's manual. It's self explanatory. You can enable and disable the DRLs and do a few other things too.

you can also download the manual off the MB website once you create a user account.

This is what I like about this site - ask and receive. It's that simple and nobody flamed anybody. FANTASTIC!

OK.....silly question. What do you do if your car doesn't have the setting for date and time? We looked in the manual and followed all the directions but still can't find the setting for "date and time". Now I'm pretty good with stuff like this. I change the time on the CLK no problem. But I really think Honey's car doesn't have it programmed in her computer.
What am I missing here?

Don't have our car yet, but here is what I found online:

Time/date

This menu is only available on vehicles without audio equipment or with Audio 20*.

Vehicles with Audio 50 APS* or COMAND APS*: this function is not available, since the time/date of the audio equipment* is used.

The Time/date menu allows you to set the time and the date.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0025.png] or [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0024.png] to select the Time/Date submenu.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0023.png] to confirm.
Setting the time

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0025.png] or [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0024.png] to select the Time function.

You will see the time currently set.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0023.png] to change it.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0028.png] or [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0026.png] to select the display to be changed: hours, minutes.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0025.png] and [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0024.png] to set the selected display.

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0023.png] to store the entry.
Setting the date

Press [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0025.png] or [resources/font_symbols/mbsymb1b/mbsymb1b_0024.png] to select the Date function.

2008 220CDI Sport Auto Estate, Obsidian Black, Black leather, Heated Seats,Pan Roof, Comand,
Time/Date
This menu is only available on vehicles without audio system or with audio 20
Depending on which Audio system you have Time and Date are received from GPS satellites and therefore cannot be set using the onboard computer.

Above taken from owners maual.

Hope this helps

Well, after going to the dealership we found out if you have the Command you can't set the time in the instrument cluster. You have to set it on the Navi screen using the command knob. Ooooops. I felt like a tard for not looking there.

It would have been helpful had you mentioned which car you were referring to and if it had Comand or not. Because it is in the Comand manual.
