It's crap, don't even bother using it. Being that it comes out of a spray can, you'll almost never end up with a smooth "drip free" finish. Unlike conventional spray paint on non illuminated surfaces, which you can always wet sand the item afterwards to clean up, you don't have that option with this stuff. Once it's on, it's on...
The only time I have seen this stuff work well is on small items, like bumper or corner lights. Anything that you can pretty much hit with one quick sweep, vs pass over pass.
If you want to try it out, dont start with your tail or head lamps. Try a small piece of plastic and see if you like the results.
