you went through all those steps? thats determination man! did you encounter any problems? When i changed it on my other car, you popped the lamp out front the outside of the car. I was thinking of just poping the glass off the front, did you see any pins there that holds the glass in? or is the long way, the only way?

if the W204 is anything like the W203, it will be a pain to get anything other than the stock W5W bulbs working. Most aftermarket superwhite bulbs are 10W and will melt the plastic housings. The HOEN bulbs work ok, but some people have had problems with them as well (myself included). LED's have had thier share of problems from tracking down the correct resistors needed to eliminate the bulb out warning, to them burning out very quickly (less than 1mo), to constant flickering.

There ARE pins that hold the housing and the glass/plastic cover from the inside, which is why you have to go thru so many procedures. I don't find the bulb lamp warning much of a nuisance, so it isn't a big problem at all. We'll just have to see how long these things last untill they burn out...

FINALLY installed, or tried to anyays, my Hoen plate light bulbs today. When I first turned on the parking lamp switch, both lights illuminated. After a second one blinked on and off, and I received a dash display bulb out alert. I returned my stock bulbs to the harness and reinstalled my deck-lid liner. I just order resistors online and will update you guys when I get them next week. I hope this works. I LOVE the look of the LEDs on the newer Lexus'.

I preume you mean the Licence plate bulbs on the C (W204)
Im trying to upload 2 pages from the WIS manual for you.
Basically you need to remove the Trunk lid handle assy to get access to the bulb from behind.

if you are worried about the potential problems with using LED bulbs, why not get a pair of Polarg B1-Hybrid Hyper White M-4 bulbs instead?
GPI has these bulbs for the headlight eyebrows and it looks very nice:

It is not hard if you are mechanically inclined. The resistors DO get warm/hot though so you have to mount them where they will do their job without touching anything that will melt or burn.

Yea the Led's in White.. Im pretty sure i can figure it out.. just posted a question incase someones done it b4.. so i can be in and out of there..
I grabbed a pair from my friend at the lexus dealership (white 4300K).(yes... they will fit) ..So im gana post some pics when im done... maybe underglow(if i get really bored waiting for an oem backup camera from MB)
