how did you install the front plate holder?
My car came with a uninstalled front plate holder.
I was wondering how did you install your front plate holder was it done by the dealer or you just drill 4 holes into the bumper?
What type of screws did you use or was it a bolt with a nut inside the front bumper?
Just curious.

the dealer bracket requires you to drill 4 holes in the bumper, unfortunately...but there are other alternatives that have been heavily discussed...

you can take it to the dealer and they will put it on for you for free or you can get an aftermarket system so you wont have to drill into your bumper.

+1 for the 'No Holes' bracket.
Personally, if I was going to have to front plate installed permanently, I might not do the 'No Holes' bracket from gominigo.com. But there is a chance we might be moving to AZ (front plates not req) so I don't want holes in my bumper. The offset plate throws off the symmetrics a bit.

The "No-Holes" bracket is not applicable for me since I need front plates on permanent basis and I belive the NO HOLES bracket is good for temporary use only.
At first I was considering this from gomigo but if it's for permanet I don't think it would look nice.
The is a policy here that says NO PLATE NO TRAVEL POLICY.

I have mounted the gominigo permanently on my C300. I was also concerned about the assymetrical look. But now that it is on there, it does not look bad at all, just different than other W204s in the area.
Your personal taste will dictate if it should be permanent or not.
