looks great on black! I'm not sure how painted grill would look on my car.

Has anyone done this on mars red?

Rims look sweet. Are those the 63 wheels?

No the 63 rims are darker in the center of the spokes and they contort toward the center more.

Also agree, looks really nice. If you do it to your Steel Grey be sure to post some pics - I'm curious to see how it looks since I just got a C300 in the same color

Funny i just saw your post introducing your new ride after 2 months !! The difficult part of getting the mod done is leaving the grill or car at the shop for a day or two ?? If i do i might as well get the rear lip spoiler AND roof spoiler installed at the same time

Wink my secret

MY BLACK GRILL IS ALL BLACK BECAUSE IT'S NOT ACTUALLY PAINTED!! IT'S STICKERED UP....USING THE STUFF TO MAKE VEHICLE GRAPHICS. IT WAS CHEAP AND QUICK TO DO, THE BROAD FINS MAKE IT EASY TO WORK WITH AND ITS ALSO REVERSABLE. THE GRILL MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY AND THE ABIENT TEMP FAIRLY WARM.

THE WHEELS ARE AMG COPIES 18"

I LIKE IT AND I'M HAPPY TO SEE OTHERS APPROVE TOO

Whoa! after hearing that, you did a pretty good job!
could you post a closeup of the grille?

how many seperate pieces of vinyl did you use?
any advice on how to work around the outer area of the three pointed star?

Lefty:

The all-black grill is a very nice look on a black car. I'm wondering if you kept a copy of the stencils used for the vinyl?

I'm not a big one for mods, but I'll be the first to admit that this grill is HOT. Thanks for posting the pics.

They don't make a lot of noise at all once they are warmed up. The BMW 3 series diesels are quieter.
