wow thats looks good. ive always wanted to get my entire grill painted on my steel grey as well without the chrome strip .....now after seeing that i think ill be doing that sooon 
did you paint the strips as well or did you leave them off after painting the grill black if i may ask?

MY BLACK GRILL IS ALL BLACK BECAUSE IT'S NOT ACTUALLY PAINTED!! IT'S STICKERED UP....USING THE STUFF TO MAKE VEHICLE GRAPHICS. IT WAS CHEAP AND QUICK TO DO, THE BROAD FINS MAKE IT EASY TO WORK WITH AND ITS ALSO REVERSABLE. THE GRILL MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY AND THE ABIENT TEMP FAIRLY WARM.

how many seperate pieces of vinyl did you use?
any advice on how to work around the outer area of the three pointed star?
