Although I rather have leather seats, however I ordered MB-Tex because they stay looking new a lot longer and are easier to keep clean. ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
To each his own.

I got MB-Tex because of the lower maintenance and durability, and it looks very nice. I plan to keep the car for quite a while. (5+ years)

MB tex was always perforated as far as I can remember, if not, you would stick to it like you would to the plastic a 90 year-old lady's couch (since, if course, MB-Tex is plastic). In the last years of the W203 (in the US) and now in the W204, there were/are no more leather inserts, just tex or leather. Leather of late stopped having perforations except where there was seat ventilation, but I will not say that with 100% certainty.
MB Tex was never perforated from what I remember. And certainly is not in my car.
It's the leather inserts that are perforated.
The reason for the perforations is so that the LEATHER can breathe. Due to the coating over it which would otherwise prevent that! This is getting like beating a dead horse.
And to be honest with you, as far as sticking to the seat, the mb tex has less 'stickyness' than the leather.
At least in my car which has leather inserts with the 'tex around them.
