Tire Pressure difference C300/C350? 17" and 18"?

I took delivery of a C350 with 18" but put on 17s for winter tires. The B pillar sticker suggests 33 front and 38psi rear, but that is for staggered 18s. I have 17s 225/45 winters all around. I did a search in this forum and noticed people are using 29psi for front and 33psi for rear, and that is what I am using for my 17s now. Should there be a difference between the C300 and C350? And should there be a difference between 17s and 18s?

Pressures shown on the gas flap for the 17s is 28/33.

The sticker on the inside of my door states 30 front and 35 rear for the staggered wheels on my 4matic sport. However, I noticed that the dealership had all 4 set to 40 psi when I took delivery. I found that I have been getting 18.5 mpg town and 25.5mpg highway consistently, so I hate to mess with the pressure.

I think you are assuming that someone at the dealer actually checked the tire pressure during the new car prep. Doesn't sound like it.

Reset the pressures according to your manual. Your gas mileage is not very impressive. I'm doing about 2mpg better.

Anyone with c350's? How do you set the pressure for your stock 17's or your optional 18's?

Hi, I have a C350 4matic, also with the 17 inch winter tire package.
Did you ever find the correct PSI to use for the winter tires?
