Some recent mods

Pics of my aftermarket rear spoiler and chrome door inserts. I think the changes are very subtle. What do you all think?

Your mods looks good. Are you contemplating on a roof spoiler too?

I would like to see a photo of a unit in Palladium Silver with moonroof. Wonder if the roof spoiler willl look good with with a light body color & moon roof.

Where is the spoiler from? Is it plastic or fiberglass? I've been eyeballing one on ebay that is supposed to be just like the OE MB item and they paint it. If that's what yours is, I am going to get one. It looks good.

I'm happy to. I am not sure if this is the actual item, or just a pic of a C350 from a dealership. Maybe someone could contact them and find out. The price is great if it looks like this or the OP's. BTW, this is relisted a lot.

The spoiler is made of fiberglass and was installed with 3M tape. The paint match was phenomenal. Install only took about 30 min. I ordered it from www.formymercedes.com (I think he was selling on ebay as well). They offer 2 versions of the spoiler; an OEM version (the one I have pictured), and a custom version where the spoiler sticks up at a 45 degree angle. The chrome door inserts also came from them as well.

I checked formymercedes.com and I see only one choice (where is the OEM version). This is the spoiler I purchased and took it off because it isn't molded correctly. If you look closely in the pics- you will notice it isn't even with the body line on the trunk. It also was about 1/4" off on the passenger side end. Very noticeable when there is a prominent body line right there. I even had my body shop remove it and try to reinstall. They said it wasn't my install- it was the part.

The item in the link I posted is blow molded plastic, which I prefer, but Ongster's looks really good. Might be better off to just pay the money and get the accessory from MB.

I prefer the looks of OEM rear spoiler.

If you email them at info@myroadster.net, they will offer you both versions of the spoiler. The spoiler was only $289 + $29 S&H, so less than half of what an MB OEM spoiler would cost (with painting + tax + install).

I am looking to add a roof spoiler, but the aftermarket version won't be available until April or May I believe.
