C300 seats...firm and with lateral support in Orion Gray leather:

My seats are factory-fitted AMG upgrade seats....but, they are NOT C63 seats.

I don't want to wish harm on any one, but can someone "safely" total their C63 and let me salvage their seats from the scrap yard? Anyone on the east coast will do ... kthx PM me

Awesome website. Thanks!

Wonder whether Benz seats are interchangeable. Obviously they physically need to fit. Could I swap in 2007 CLS front seats into the W204? Possibilities could be innnteresting....

I actually looked into getting more comfortable seats for my 2008 C300. Even just moving up to the 2009 C300 seats were going to be an issue.

What I came across was the issue of having the electronics for the airbags throwing out a code that would be difficult to clear. There was also the issue of the seat controls being moved from the bottom side of the seat to the door.

AMG seats rule! the sides hug you good

Make sure you set it up right... dont slouch and lower them too much or you will get neck/back strain lol

I keep the seat such that the steering wheel matches the top contour of the dash (from my point of view)

I drove my Merc from Germany to England with no complaints, I actually love the seats. Do you have the leather option or MB Tex? I'm looking for a junked set of AMG seats, but for what they are I think they are fine.

The seat mounted side-airbags are a problem. You either need to find C63 seats which have airbags, then figure out how to re-connect and deal with potential errors, or you find something aftermarket. Most aftermarket seats don't come with airbags though ... Recaro has the Sportster CS with airbag but it's crazy expensive and I have no idea how it would interface with the MB airbag wiring.

This guy has Recaros, but I don't think he has side-airbags anymore! Looks badass though...
