I always thought AMG always meant top of the range in a specific class. But since MB has is releasing some of the cars with AMG sports package, I guess I was wrong. Which made me realize that AMG is the styling; same as M/// sports for BMW and S/ / line for Audi. A combination of the engine, e.g C63, and AMG styling makes the top of the range for a specific range. Therefore, if you have an AMG badge, on a car with AMG sports styling, that does not mean that you have the top of the gange, but it only means that you have a C, S, or E class with AMG styling and there is nothing wrong with that.

I will also want to get the AMG rear defuse as soon is available, I heard that you need a VIN# on order to purchased AMG parts, the W204 already has an AMG body style, so there is nothing wrong by adding more AMG body parts and on my personal opinion I agree on not adding the AMG badge.

People said you would need a VIN to order Nismo 350Z body kit parts, but some vendors have proved otherwise. I think it is because of different part numbers being assigned to the same part. You may just need to know somebody at the dealership who knows how the part system works.
Thought about doing that to my car, but I felt it would take away from the real owners, regardless if I claimed I just wanted the styling.

For those who don't know what AMG means:
Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach
"AMG" is an abbreviation that stands for: Hans Werner Aufrecht (A) and Eberhard Melcher (M) who were partners, while Aufrecht’s birthplace of Großaspach (G) supplied the third letter in the company name
To each it's owm

To all interested in a link to the diffuser
I am in the process of working something out with the seller where I can provide the diffusers wholesale to you guys if we get maybe ten people to put money down. I will give you more details as they come. In the meantime, if could get a better gauge on interest in this item we may be able to move this process along a little quicker. I'd like to have these diffusers here and paid for before we start seeing C63's all over the place. This may not happen but we will see. PM me if you are interested and we'll see what we can do.

Need some clarification; will the C363 diffuser fit under the rear bumper of the C350 Sports without any alterations/modifications?
Obviously the cut outs on the diffuser is larger than stock to accomodate the twin-tipped exhausts. Right?

Listen, enough of this poser garbage. Its ridiculous. Do you really care whether or not people badge their cars AMG when they aren't? You would think AMG owners IF ANYONE would be making these types of comments. Doesn't seem that way though. Besides, if there weren't those out there who badge non-AMGs AMGs people who do drive AMGs wouldn't have anybody to point and laugh at on the highway. So please!! Put your AMG badges on anything with a 3 pointed star on the hood so I can laugh at you as I pass you at 140

If you can all find them for the price that Tune Time has advertised go ahead. If you want a sure thing shipped, takes two weeks from Germany its $650. and no there is no mark up. I'm trying to help you all get your hands on these early. I dont know what Tune Time did to get his thru a dealership but mine come directly from germany from a tuning company there that ordered about 400 of them. I cant even mark them up because of the exchange rate on the Euro is much to high to try to make profit I would be selling these for a grand it just wouldnt work. Either way, they are available.
