Cruise Control Inoperative?

I was driving yesterday, not trying to use cruise at the time, when the display told me "Cruise Control Inoperative." It continued to say this for 10 minutes, so I parked, turn the car off, and back on, and it went away. Afterwards, I used the cruise control with no issue.

Has anyone seen that message come up before? What would be the cause, could I have a problem?

Thanks!

It happened to me one time, but went away after I restarted the car. Cruise worked fine. Definitely something to keep an eye on????
