C350 4MATIC Premium Package Obsidian Black
i agree it all depends on the driver. i have no experience with these seats since i have not test drove or sat in one. the only time i sat in it was at the dealers and that was for all of 2 minutes. i know its crazy not test drive it
but i bought the car based on looks.

i dont understand why people dont like the c300 seats.
I drove to banff about 2-3hours away, and my back or butt or anything didnt hurt.
but i went from a 96 corolla to a c300

Seat comfort is very subjective to how your body is. Some people, including myself, say that the seats on the w204 are very comfortable. You wouldn't really be able to tell until you test drive one.
Doesn't sound like you test drove a w204 yet and that's the problem. I am 5'10" and with the seats set all the way low, my hair will hit the top of the car. I don't think you would find the w204 comfortable if you are 5 inches taller than I am.

The problem with the seat all the way down (lowered) is that there's not enough room to tuck my left foot up by the seat. The seat is too close to the floor. I'm learning to adjust, but slowly.
Not my only complaint about the car, but maybe the most serious. It's a great car!

Had a 2006 e90 330i and went to a C300. You don't mention if you have the sport package seat or the normal seats ... I had sport package seats.
The length of the seat bottom, even with the thigh support extended wasn't as good as the mercedes seats. But the padding and shape were far superior. I was always comfortable in my 3 series, and took for granted that I would always be comfortable in any car I owned ... until I got the C. It's like a torture device.
I can be comfortable for about 10-15min ... the length of a test drive ... but after that my hips start to hurt no matter how I position the seat. Someone else pointed out that they thought it was due to the lack of bolstering and the hard seat cushion.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
All I know is they'll get this car back with very few miles on it. I can't stand to be in it for more than daily commute.

Not happy with the C class's seat, been a owner from W203 to W204. They have not improve the comfort level of the seat from what i felt.
I guess if you like ur C class and want a comfort seat, maybe upgrade the front seats. The back seats are good on the other hand.
Been seating in CLK and CLS, their seat are far more comfortable than C class, guess it is due to the thickness of the seat /padding of the bucket seat. You get what u pay for ... i guess
