I've recently replace all of my interior lighting with Polarg bulbs, which nicely matches the stock LED front map lights.
Luckily all but one are the 194/5W5 wedge bulbs:
- Front foot wells (2 bulbs total)
- Lower door panel/puddle lights (4 bulbs total)
- Front dome lights (2 bulbs)
- Rear map lights (2 bulbs)
- Vanity mirror lights (2 bulbs)
- Glove box (1 bulb)
- Trunk interior, not including trunk lid (1 bulb)
So you will need a total of 14 wedge bulbs to do the interior -- you could often find Polarg bulbs sold in larger quantities on eBay.
The only bulb that's different is the rear dome light which is a festoon bulb (the long cylindrical bulb that has contacts on both ends), which I replaced with LEDs.
I would like to replace the LEDs that illuminate the interior door handles from amber to white as they are barely noticable. It doesn't look like you could access it easily, so you may need to take the interior door panel off.

This is what I've collected so far from the forum .....
D1S Xenon Headlight
H7 Inner Hi beam
H7 Fog
W5W or 194 for city light (4 bulbs needed)
W5W or 194 for amber reflector on the wheel well
The signal lamp uses the 3857A bulb type
The license plate uses the 194 bulb
Note: in some cases the manual is wrong (e.g., it says that the fogs are h11.
NB: 168 is same as 194 bulb type

i've read through a few lighting threads now and i think i'm going to be sick... are there really this many different combinations? and it also depends on whether you have the p2 package or not?
i thought i read on another thread that the p2 has led front turn signals. i walked outside to look and all i see is a orange bulb in the headlight housing. it sure didn't look like an led bulb. so if i'm looking to purchase a stealth super white bulb, that should be fine right? i don't think i've read about LED that will work in the front turn signal spot. please correct me if i'm wrong.

2014 E 550 Cabriolet. Black exterior with red interior, 2009 C 350. 2013 Toyota highlander.
Hi, I am not sure if this is the rite thread to ask or if i should have started a new thread, but my problem concerns Bulbs in my 2009 C350.
About 2 months ago my dashboard lit up with right front parking lamp warning, accompanied by a malfunctioning right eyelid bulb. Sometimes it would work and then at other times it would not, this lasted for a while then finally it just gave up working. I took my car to the dealers and they changed the bulb for free, under warranty..... Then within a week, my left Fog Lamp stopped working, got it changed again at the dealers, again for free...... was fine for a week when my right Headlight lamp stopped working and blewup...... Got it changed again, for free yes..... all fine again, dealer said its not unusual for different blubs to stop working after 2 years. Anyways i was on my merry ride when my right fog lamp warning came up and that too stopped working. Now i was getting really tired of this and since the dealer is about 40 miles away from my place, i didnt get it changed for about a month, apart from that right fog lamp not working everything else was fine. 2 days ago i was passing around the dealers place when i though might as well get the fog lamp fixed, which they did again- for free. Today, my indash lit up with right parking and break lamp warning and sure enough the right brake light (on of the bulb) is not working....... Whats going on ?
Any ideas/help will be appreciated. If this is the wrong thread then i apologize, let me know and i will post as a new thread.
Thanks

the parking lights or eyebrown lights you speak of are a real pain in the ***.
they get extreme warm. i changed my LED's for new LED's that cope with the heat a bit better (the ones in the bag).
look at the picture to get an idea of the heat (3 of the 4 LED's still worked though)
about the FOG lights... why the hell do you keep them on? they have the same issue, massive heat and should only be turned on when there's fog.
anyway i put special fog LED's with an adapter in place.
