2005 C230
Is this specific to the w204? I have an '05 203 and I drove the 09 204 for a couple of days while mine was at the dealership (gotta love a warranty) and I fell in love with the chirp. My C230 doesn't make any noise (yes, I have the alarm package) and I'd love to activate it if possible (I'm still getting used to locking from the smartkey)

I'd love to activate this if possible...

Thanks

Go back to the dealer and ask. The 203 will "chirp" but I do not know exactly how to turn it on. It was a menu setting in the 202 but I have not owned a 203.

That sucks if thats the case.
No, the alarm tone volume is independently set. Turning the "Chirp" volume all the way down does not affect the "Alarm" volume.

I wonder if there is a way to turn this chirp ON on EU cars?!, must check this out at work tomorrow, but I am pretty certain it cant be done unless you have that Panic feature with siren that all US-cars have.
