Good question. I'd be interested in that too.

I think splice and tap trick should do the job, get a decent LOC.
Image Dynamics MAX is the best sub i've heard to date, lots of ball down low and articulate, little bit on the loud side.
My personal sub is SoundSplinter Rl-p 12 inch, very smooth.
Well i haven't get the chance to put a sub in the new car just yet. But that's the way i'll be looking at if i'm going to put a sub in the car.

I don't actually have it in my car at the moment, but I've always used JL Audio speakers. I find them to be VERY balanced while sounding fantastic but also adding quite a bit of bass. I had a 12W3 speaker (250 watts) in my Grand AM, and the sound was well, fantastic. I've also had 10W0 speakers (125 watts) which were "ok", but the W3's are really special. If you want more bass in the rear and are looking for people to hear it from neighborhoods around, go with their W7 line, a 12W7 or something similar...

........or you could always do what the owner of the sound shop near me did to his BMW. Get 6 8" speakers installed into the back dash. LOL

In short, go JL Audio.
