I have the 2008 C 350 sport. Irridium Silver Metalic,Multimedia Package,iPod,18" AMG wheels
c350 sunroof doesnt close.
My c350 sunroof wouldn't auto-express close. It would stutter close incrementally. This is a warranty issue right?
I'm going to schedule an appointment on monday, Is that a well known problem.

Yes, it's a well known problem. My '01 did this a time or two. '08s OK so far.
Run the roof closed all the way and hold the button for a further five seconds minimum. Repeat for open and again for tilt, both directions.
Look up reprogramming the windows in the manual so when they develop this hiccup you can fix that, too. Or the dealer will do it if you have the time.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
If its stuck in the open position you can use the handy dandy p.o.s. looking tool usually located in the glove box when you purchased the car. It looks like a bent up piece of metal, you pop out the cover in the roof of the back seat and use the tool to crank it closed manually.
