I have to admit, it looks sharp. I wonder why they didn't do this with a car with a black interior - would go more with the theme.

So i was on my way to Maserati of Sac. to check on some Gransports. When i remembered this post. So i went to MB of Sac. and i saw the "black edition" 
and laughed
not be cause its a C Class ($34,000-$40,000) but because these stupid ***** Fu**ers had a 2009 SL AMG ($105,000 on window) sitting out in the front dirty and dusty.
. they had the nerve to call it black edition, they could of added so more items to make it look alittle less stock C63 Diffuser etc.

this is by far .. the most.. stupidest dealership gimmickry attempt I have ever come across..
I mean look at it. $120 a pop Tirerack rims and a few badges.. I hate when people like these question an average person intelligence. I wish I was there to lauff my head off at these goof's

That thing is about as sharp as
a dull spoon. You guys can't be serious. Its enough already with these Japanese tuner colored rings on the tires. Those look good on Civic Si's and Evo's.

I generally like color rings on rims... but these wheels and the car as a whole are just plain garbage. 
I'm pretty sure somebody will become a PROUD owner of this "special" edition someday though. Never underestimate the ignorance and gullibility of the average uninformed consumer.

I like the accessory spoiler, but that appears to be the only upgrade.
BTW Chilled, that's why I said it worked for Yenko. I didn't see that in your earlier post.

Yenko knew what they were doing when they did their models though. To explain what they did in Mercedes terms...they would turn a C300 into a C550. Usually done without much fanfair meaning you got an emblem on each side of the hood, one on the back..and the an optional striping package. Some of the customers took the emblems off and left what was under the hood a surprise to would be takers. The Yenko packaging eventually turned into a GM ordering code much like AMG has done.
