I read in other forum about this it goes where your gas pedal is 10 minutes to install make the car not think to take off just goes.....anyone know about this for c class other tried it on c23 who can give me feed back on what they know

It doesn't have any performance gains and forces you to relearn and readapt to stop and go traffic conditions. You'll look stupid trying to impress the Geo Metro next to you at the next stoplight.

Why not just take advantage of the torque converter and hold brake and hold revs up whenever you need to launch faster?

MANY people on these forums will defend the sprint booster, but I agree with the last poster, its a very stupid gimmick that makes the car FEEL faster to the driver. All it does is amplify the signal coming from the gas pedal. This means if you have it pushed 25% of the way down, the sprint booster is fooling the ecu into thinking you have it 50% of the way down.

So.... if you're holding the throttle 50% of the way down.... its fooling the ecu into thinking you have the car at full throttle! Anything past that 50% mark is USELESS because you're already at 100% throttle. It's just fooling you.

*** Those percentages are for arguments sake, I don't know if the actual numbers are published.

It isn't as simple as you guys think. I see it as a more aggressive throttle "tune". No, it makes no added max HP but many mods don't.
I used one on my E55 until I got it modded (including tune), so it became something that i didn't want in the variable. But, I plan to get one for the C350. The one I have is an AMG version (slightly milder) and spoken for, so it won't work.

Let me clear up a few things. First, the Sprint Booster does what they say AND it sends a constant signal to the ECU, keeping it "prepped". The responsiveness is the added joy, not just the throttle response. Second, the method mentioned about "power-braking" DOES NOT work on MBs. Yes, it can help you get some burn out action, but your launch will actually be slower because the computer will pull power thinking you are out of control. Turning ESP off doesn't turn off the safety limits. Only dyno mode does that and I haven't tried that in the C350.

Best launch i have gotten with the stock car is almost the same as my E55. I basically hold the brake as I tap the gas (just barely blipping it), then I loosen the brake and roll into the throttle. Traction really isn't an issue with the 350, so I can basically punch it.

BTW, most of the power is at 4K to me, is that right? No low end power.
