white with tint windows & cf roof
Phase 2 of my planned tuning is done after cf roof tint is done.
Its done with the darkest tint just to be able to see at night.
Day time is fantastic.
Anyway the fine for the black tint if police stops me is 40€.
So being a little bit outlaw and having the car just the way i like it its ok by me.
Its crazy but i really love the way the car looks.

What percentage tint is that, if I may ask?
I also want a dark, dark tint (especially the rear windshield) to create a streamlined look along with the pano roof that I have, but I worry about night time visibility.
How's the night time experience for you with that tint? Is there a significant drop in visibility?

The company for that films is based on the states and its called SunTek.
The type i used has a code for rear and back window HP20 and for winshield HP30.
The idea was to be as close to the side pilla and it worked just perfect.

One of a kind I'll give you that. Here in NY you wouldn't be able to drive 10 feet without being pulled over with the windshield tinted. Does look Sci-Fi though.

Got a ticket too. my second day owning the car I got 20% on all the windows, then 2 weeks later got popped by Hwy-P! But I got a cop friend that signed off on it, so it costs me $10 for processing fees....

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what is legal in Cali? I am moving to the bay area in a week and just bought my car, it is waiting for me out there. Tinting is the first thing I want to do so just want to know the laws and how strict they are. Thanks.

You can tint as dark as you want except for driver, front passenger, and windshield. Also, reflective or chrome tint is a no-no.

One of the fiew things that remain good in Greece is that police is being not that strict with that kind of things like tint windows,loud exhaust,loud music subbass playing,e.t.c.
Its my third car with that dark tint and i never got a ticket so far.(i have 3 court orders for speeding on the other hand but in the states im sure they will reopen the alcatraz for me ) but w.t.f.

In California, front windshield, front driver's side window and front passenger's side window must NOT be tinted. At all.
But I've found that if you tine the rear windshield and rear windows (driver's and passenger's) super duper dark (limo tint!), then you can usually get away with a little bit of tint in the front. The fronts will look lighter because the back windows are so dark.
But personally, I hate this look (tinted back and clear/lighter fronts). Looks so mismatching.

I'm thinking to go 15% all the way around tomorrow at HMS. I hate the look when one is darker so I won't go 10% in the rear (like I had in the past). I also don't do anything on the front windsheild.

The car really looks great in person believe it or not but after the installation of the tints and cf look roof the car became i serious headturner,im really very happy for this mod.
On to the next mod will be quad excaust pipes,and ecu remap.
