Perfect solution for LED eyelid
Another question. Is there a wattage limit on the led buld that you can use with this circuit? In fact, what's the wattage of the buld supplied. I was just thinking if we could subsequently change the led bulb for something even brighter, or are we stuck using only the supplied bulbs.

This bulb is 3.5W.
But different brand LED got different own control IC, the compatibility is a big question, I only believe in what I see.
For the license plate lights I've installed a 5W 100ohm transistor to the wires which cured everything, no error message, no flickering and goes on when it supposed to. It's only costed me a buck each. Much cheaper than $50 for that 'magic box'. The LED wedge bulbs I got from Hoen, but you could find decent LED 194 wedge bulbs for about $3 on eBay.

Here they are at night. Kinda crappy, sorry. It was raining.

My next step is to find fogs that'll match...
from looking at these two pictures they seem to look alike:

vs.

By looking in these angles, one looks round and the other looks a bit flatter? whkento, will a normal 194 wedge bulb work in your socket?
A bit more involved is that on the sheet which lists the available options, their cost, and time to install, it listed something like .2 hours to do the install ( I don't have the sheet with me now). Judging from this, I'm guessing they fit the standard bulb fitting. I will do more research, but it will probably take a few days. Due to serious communication issues (my Japanese is, uh, not that great), I will have to actually drive over to the dealer and use my usual part Japanese, part English, part sign language method of communication to get answers. Please be patient.
Obviously, at this time I'm not gonna make any promises re. purchasing them.

I'll be back in touch when I can...
But still expensive, around $85 for a pair, and you need two pairs so total $170

And a quick question--do you guys get that auction page in English or Japanese? (Mine's in Japanese, with pricing in Yen.)
