Weatherstripping
I had my car tinted and when they were laying out the tint they cut some of the vertical weatherstripping on the rear passenger door (on the outside). They cleaned it up so it is fairly unnoticeable however there is now a part of it that is thinner. They are a quality tint shop and offered to replace the stripping (they would have an autobody shop that they work with do it).
The question I have is can this just be the one strip replaced or will it have to be all the weatherstripping on that door? I might want to live with it then risk something else happening if that is the case. Any feedback is appreciated.

They should pay a qualified shop to replace the damaged item with a factory new part. Accept nothing less. You don't owe them anything and if you patch it up, sooner or later it will have to be changed anyway, on your nickel.

Weatherstripping
They are having a qualified shop take care of it. I just don't know if it's worth replacing all of the stripping (if in fact that is what they have to do) and taking the risk of it not looking right or there being problems down the road or if I should just live with it since it's purely cosmetic (see picture).

If you don't fix it, every time you open that door from now on your eye will be drawn to the defect and you will regret not doing it.

if they accidently cut that then take it back, you paid for tint not weather stripping removal!!! if they are a quality shop it would be no problem and they would fix it for you. im sure you are paying +/-40k for your car so take care of it dont treat it like a ford fiesta.....
