Finally a Sprint Booster for 07 and up C class!!

As many of you may know the 07 and up C class has not been able to use the same Sprint Booster that everyother Mercedes has. Well, just released yesterday for the 07 and up C class including the C63 is a brand new Sprint Booster.

We will have these in stock next week and are offering an introductory price of $300.00 shipped!

Here's a link: http://tvtdes********/storeProducts/209/cat/751

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Thank you,

Anthony

oo I just read somewhere else that it changes throttle response time. No increase in hp or torque. Don't think I'll be doing that lol

Basically what the Sprint Booster does is allow the throttle to become more sensitive. These cars are Drive By Wire and many owners have noticed a lag in throttle response when compared to a cable actuated car. The Sprint Booster eliminates this lag and makes the car much more responsive. Up and down shifitng is much crisper and power delivery appears much sooner.

We have sold 100's to MB and Crossfire owners and have not had one single dissatisfied customer.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Too bad this wasn't available for my Passat. That had a very noticeable lag time due the TBW. The APR chip helped a little.

They have Sprint Boosters for Passats as well. Corvettes, Jeeps, BMWs, Hondas, Toyotas, and that's just part of the list.

so, the Sprint booster gives better throttle response. Does it have any gains in HP ? Does this sprint booster apply to all c class? even the 4matics ?

Thanks

There is no add in HP. It is installed inline at your pedal assembly.
It will work for all C classes, even the 4 matics. 07 and under use a different part number, also available on our site.

We offer a 15 day money back gaurantee if you are not satisfied. We know that it is a very iffy product, but we always end up with satisfied customers.

If this is the same "sprint booster" that I've seen on other cars, both M-B and not, it installs right after your gas pedal. I haven't done it myself, ever, but apparently you pull out your gas pedal assemby, unplug it, connect the sprint booster between your pedal and the wires from the car, reinstall your pedal assembly into the floor, and you're done!

[wires in the car's floor <--> sprint booster <--> gas pedal]

That makes no sense, I know. You should try searching the forum for threads about its install. Seemed like a pretty easy DIY install though.

Me too. I'm kinda debating/on the line about this mod. I think it will provide for a much more direct, responsive feel to the pedal, so I really want it. But at the same time, I might just end up driving more aggressively with it on. Aggressive driving and I do not mix very well--I've had some extreme reactions in the past.

Ehhh... I can't decide if I should get it or not. Everyone who has purchased this that I've read about has had nothing but super positive things to say about it. Never read one negative review. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. How about someone buy it first, install it, and then post a nice review? People say it took just about 10 minutes to install it themselves.

EDIT: And no, I don't work for TVT_Designs, or anything like that.

Is this a mechanical mod or an electronic? I am trying to grasp what the modification does since it installs near the gas pedal.

Since our cars are reliant on electronics, I suppose it's electronic but I thought I would ask. Any pics of the device itself?

Is there an on/off switch once it's installed?

This sounds as though it works like the throttle response that is part of the Advanced Agility Package that I have on my car. If so then for $300 I think it is worth every cent. I find the throttle response a lot quicker when in sport mode.

All Sprint Booster does is modify the pedal position input signal. So the drive by wire system thinks that you're stepping on the pedal harder than you really are.

IE: The gas pedal position is @ 1/4, but with Sprint Booster installed, the drive by wire system thinks you're 1/2 way to WOT.

Hi UGA, Yes I find the suspension firms up but it doesn't lower the suspension.

Installing a sprint booster will give you more response when you press on the pedal and definitely gets rid of any lag. It's an easy install that takes about 10-15 minutes. If you don't like the way it feels, you'll have to remove it as it does not have an on/off switch. I have friends who have them installed on their MBs & BMWs and they say they lose a few MPGs, but also say its worth it. I saw it on ebay for $299 for different makes and models and you can make an offer. Get the non AMG version...I have found that even people with AMGs get the non AMG version. Don't know what the difference is.
