Or
Y pipe with these AMG tips would cost me around $250-$300 After installation?

Or
Magnaflow exhaust with built in tips around $500 after installation.

2008 C300 Sport/2006 e55 amg
again

I asked this a few months ago because I saw it, but has anyone just changed the tips on the car to dual tips? I saw a car in LA with them, but I didnt get a chance to take a closer look. But I did talk to the guy for a second and he had the stock exhaust just had a shop cut off the single tip, and replace with double..

Anyone know anything about this?

The Borla site has some good info.

Dynomax has a chart of which mufflers to use based on engine size and some more good info.

Thanks for the links! Does anyone know the pipe diameter of our exhaust? is it 2.25 or 2.5?
