DA*N AMGTestDriverNJ CUTTING THEM DOWN EARLY . He is right i don't think that the badges need to be tampered with. AMG is such a strong word yeah i know we go t the AMG kit on the car but is it a true AMG that is the ? to each his own but not a fan of the AMG emblem on non AMG cars.

I've got all that **** on my car plus some and it still says C300 4Matic on the back. Either Debadge completely or leave it on there but don't start getting a head like you are driving a fast car because you have 4 pipes. Mine is a show car, thats how it will stay. Frankly, w/a 4 banger, so is yours. Once you all manage to get your diffuser and quads on don't think that eatitles u2 AMG badges. Thats why
Bear in mind the chap paid extra for what MB call the "AMG SPORTS PACKAGE"
I don't see the need for it, however, I will not criticise anyone either, my opinion. The debate goes on......

Some people feel that putting C63 badges on their C300s/C350s somehow makes the cars' owners better people or more deserving respect, in one way or another. I think that notion is just absurd , and I don't condone the practice in any way, shape or form. I think such fakery is stupid, and would never do it. Furthermore, I think the fewer badges a car has, the better; so, I wouldn't go around adding more badges instead of removing them.
Having said that, however, if someone wants to do that to his car (his personal property), that's his prerogative. (Cue: Britney Spears, "that's myyyy prerogative, rogative, rogative, rogative"" Anyone? Anyone? Bad joke. )
As for the member above, however, he wasn't even posing his car as a C63. He only put an AMG sticker on, for whatever reasons. What's wrong with that? He has AMG parts, and some of those parts probably came supplied with an AMG badge.
I simply fail to see why the AMG Police must go around berating random strangers for their stylistic choices on their own cars. I've seen a beat-the-hell-up 1980s Honda Accord runnning around with all badges replaced with BMW roundels, but I didn't go up to him and start yelling, "You fool! Take off those badges! How dare you! This isn't a BMW! You have no right! This is absurd! I simply won't have this! Travestyyyyyyy!!! " What right have I got to do so, unless I'm his sugar daddy and have paid for the car?
I've said the same in so many different posts, it's beginning to get tiresome.
But worry not, my fellow brethren. Whenever the AMG Police appears, I'll make sure to be there to provide a counter argument. Just because.
Fear not, for I am here. I am the anti-Snobbery Police! Dan-da-ra-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!
(p.s. Notice how I like using emoticons? haha)

gokalp, just want to make sure... you have the right-hand drive car right? I am just wondering if the exhaust would be different between left-hand and drive-hand.
Cheers.

A catalyser, for street usage, will provide MORE then enough backpressure to keep the needed torque at low RPM. Switching out you OEM muffler for a straight through design can only be beneficial in terms of TQ and HP. If we were talking about removing catalysers, I would definately agree with what you said.

Does anyone know if you can order JUST the part from the muffler back (would be a little more than just the tips I think)??? I really like the look of the C63 diffuser w/ quad tips but don't feel like dropping all that cash on cosmetics. I'd rather get a nice set of rims...
That or Remus needs to offer a quad exhaust setup w/ oval tips for the C350.

shaved > badges
anyways, what if someone were to make a tip for the stock c300/350 exhaust that fit that area. i would guess something that looks like the lexus ls. would that be whack?
that sure would save a lot of work and money and is easy to return to stock. i wouldn't want to put 1600 on an exhaust unless i would see substantial gains. plus i didn't buy this car for speed although it is plenty quick for my needs right now.

Methodz now that os an idea. A single tip to fill the quad space so only the tip would be replaced. For people with leases this looks like a solution.

I'm down with getting a replacement dual tips, rather paying big bucks in reworking the exhaust. I really like the shaped flush fitting exhaust of the LS, but getting the exhaust tip to line up with the bumper opening would be hard. Lexus has mastered this for 20 years, but American cars still couldn't get it right even with their huge bumper cutouts.

i'm more worried about the tips melting or burning the diffuser than getting it to line up. maybe one of these days i'll make a 3d rendering when i get the measurements.

what happens if you have to drop the exhaust... you have to remove the muffler to the manifold? Or right below the Manifold... no C200's in the US, but by seeing how they welded it there without a flange i cant see if it comes apart...
