Hi,

After reading a lot of posts here about the PCMCIA slot and its different connection options, I still couldn't find what would the maximum size of a CF card with a PCMCIA reader. There's talk about the different Types (I,II,III) and supposing that the COMMAND only accepts CF of type I and II, what would be the highest capacity CF one could use ?

Are you sure that the command can not accept typeIII CF cards?

I really wish someone here will advice on the CF cards that can work. I'm tired of looking for another SDHC adapter as my first one which I waited for so long turns out to be uncompatible.

Just remember not to have more than 255 FOLDERS, or some of your music will not show up in COMAND.

By the way is this TYPE I or TYPE II?

 

I don't really know if it is Type I or Type II...but it works! I use a CF to PCMCIA adapter I got a Fry's for $10. Any compact flash pcmcia adapter should work fine.
