TSB-Vibrating Dash-C300

I just brought my C300 in for my Welcome Service. (Ray Catena) I also complained to the rep that there was an annoying vibration coming from behind the Multi-Media Unit. He indicated that there is a Technical Service Bulletin out for this problem as several folks are experiencing it. The problem is that the plastic pieces tend to vibrate. The solution is that they will wrap the pices in felt tape to eliminate the noise. I thought I would pass this along to the group.

I've heard others, but haven't experienced it myself yet. Will be on the look out. Thanks for the notice.

I just picked up the car and the problem is fixed. To further clarify, the wire harness behind the MM Unit is the culprit here and is what needs the felt tape.

Thanks VIZ for letting us know. It is reassuring to know that this issue can be easily fixed after all.

One of my pet peeves is squeek and rattles happening in a Benz.

I agree. I had the car six weeks and it sounded like a 6 year old car. Now it sounds very solid...what one would expect from MB. BTW, only took them 2 hours to complete.
