Passenger Lock Question

I was wondering is there any way to disable the rear passengers lock. Reason why is when my friends are in the back seat and trying to get out they always have to wait till the passenger. Or i open our our door or press unlock which could be a pain for them.

thanx

No there is not. I asked three different service reps. They claim it is a safety feature, I call it a PITA.

I turned off the automatic door locking, if thats what your referring to, via the menu in the speedo dial.

i dont mind the auto-locking, but auto-unlocking when you turn off the car would be a desirable feature for me

I think most cars with powerlocks has it. GM's is especially aggressive. I turn my '97 Pont off and every 3 mos it turned itself back on! Blame it on lawsuit happy customers, even when its their fault.

UR2SLO: back on your thread, i hope you got the link OK, Its also in you manual.
