I really hate those wheel spoilers but
with a set of 19"s poking out on a white car I'll leave the hand wash and not two seconds after making a turn I'll have spit up all sorts of dirt and debris on the side of my car and wheel wells. I want to do something about it because on white its very obvious and kind of makes the wash obsolete. Anyone else having these problems? Any possible remedy? Really bothers me, I may wide body the fenders and put spacers on the wheels. That would be a great look.

I dont have 19'' rims, but i hated that dirt and brake dust would get on the sides of my car after a wash. So I went to mb, and the offer mud flaps for the w204 priced around 60 bucks a piece. I turned it down but it doesnt hurt to check em out!
Best of luck

Im pretty sure there in Black, atleast thats what they looked like in the picture. I had a white GS350 and i put some black ones on, and they looked really nice. Only reason i bought em is b/c my best friend worked at lexus. But yea back to the c class. I saw it in the accesories brochure. You can always get em painted in white to match, but i would assume theyd get dirty cuz their closer to the ground.

ya, after a wash i have a bunch of black spots of dirt all over the side of my car, this is really annoying, especially after hand washing the car and drying, etc. I usually have to drive the car 3 times, after each stop (use quick detail to get that crap out), but I feel really stupid sitting in some parking lot at a mall or whereever trying to get the black dirt off my car.

2008 220CDI Sport Auto Estate, Obsidian Black, Black leather, Heated Seats,Pan Roof, Comand,
The mud flaps are not suitable for vehicles with AMG bodykit. See attached link, download brochure then go to page 25.
Don't know where we can get them from for the sport model

Haha, don't feel stupid! I do it all the time. We are car guys, our cars are extensions of ourselves. I do it too. Can't help it, I'm sure you can't either. Anyway, interesting to see the mud flaps don't fit both trims of the W204. Doesn't make much sense. I'm leaning towards some custom widebody fenders and spacers.

It's the tire shine
For me, I've noticed it depends on what kind of tire shine you put on the car. Those car washes put a crazy amount of the stuff on the tire, which just causes it to spin up on the side of your car.
I've stared to use 303 on my tires. A very light coating that soaks in fairly quickly. Provides a like new black tire look (not shiney), and virtually no spray up on the car.

Hi AMGTest..
My car is equipped with the optional 18" AMG Wheels which came factory fitted with bodywork modifications to the rear fender to allow for the extra width. You should be able to purchase the part from your MB dealer.
C63's with the optional 19" wheels also have this modification. Have you explored this route?

I kinda like those. I saw these on ebay and wanted to order them (same idea)

I think they stick out too far. Maybe I will try the dealership. Thanks

I'm talking about having the fenders done at a body shop. The add on ones look tacky.

I could probably understand using the wheel spoilers for sport package Cs that have wheels a little wider than the fenders. But it looks cheap and tacky. Is MB too cheap to give the C63 wider rear fenders to balance the front and rear?
