Blue Tint glass on 09...?
I noticed none of the '08 C-classes have blue tinted glass for the Sport models. Will this change in '09 or no? It's not a huge deal, but it may sway the choice of me waiting for an '09 rather than getting an '08 before time's up for that year.

Actually the windows are not tinted on the one's you see which are BLUE....it is the type of glass they use on those models (so says my window tint guy -- as I wanted that color "tint" on mine)....typically in the higher end versions & luxury models...will the '09 C class sports have that color...most likely not.

I haven't noticed blue tint on any makers bi-zenons lately. Thought it was just earlyon versions and now old hat. Doubt MB will change headlight colour.

He is referencing the actual windows of the car, not the headlights. Seems like MB is phasing out the blue windows for sport models, sad I liked it, specially on silver cars.

The blue tint was an option on previous model C-classes, but not in the '08 and according to the dealer ordering guide, it will not be an option on the '09's

The glass mentioned above is PPG Solextra. It came as standard equipment on some of the MB sport models, such as the W203 series. It has a blueish color to it. From the outside my interior looks blue (it is actually grey).
The advantage of the Solextra (other than looking cool), is that it really reduces the interior temperature. This is really great for those of us who live in the desert. Additional window tinting is unnecessary, unless you want it for privacy.
I am hoping MB brings back this feature.

blue "tint" was never an option. It was always standard on all sport and AMG models. Not sure about the 2009's. As mentioned earlier, it's not tint but rather a dye in the actual glass itself.

I hope they bring it back, too. I'm surprised it wasn't a part of th '08 line up.
