Missing Door Pin

So I looked in my backseat the other day and I'm missing a door pin. Don't ask me how. Anyway...warranty or no?

Depends on how well you know your service adviser, but honestly this item can't be more than a couple of dollars (cross your fingers, you never know with Benz).

They are not a couple of dollars. I had mine fall off when someone sat in the rear seat and tried to unlock the door. Damn thing pulled right off. They are not like previous models (of course). The fronts come off but the rear is attached to the locking cable and is not made to be removable. It looks like a ball/socket but when the pin is removed- it cracks at the bottom and will no longer securely fit. It is covered under warranty (multiple complaints) but takes like 2 hrs to fix. I contacted CEC and tried to order the Brabus pins but the part number listed was for the w203. When I questioned them- they said Brabus made a mistake in their catalog and it would take 2 weeks from Germany. I really want a Euro vin for a C63 or C to order the flush mount pins.

Wow, thanks for the info, thats just crazy! Leave it to Benz to make something as simple as a door lock pin cost you big bucks and lots of down time to fix. Good news is its covered under warranty and I really don't mind killing 2 hours in the show room while they fix my car.

Just verify the part # begins with 204... The catalog still shows 203 (which of course will not fit)
