Tinted tail lights?

AZN, imma have to hit up your bro's shop. im not too far from sgv. anyone got a part number on the tail light housings?

It's spray. I heard film can melt and deform or fade where it's closest to the light if placed on inside. Outside, I saw one and didn't like how the edge of the film was showing. I got them removed and sent out to the paint shop that works with Promax and got them back in 3 hours.
I was toying with the idea of a two toned caliper scheme like the attached picture, but in the end, common sense got the better of me and painted the whole thing white and stuck on Mercedes Benz CF decal.

In Illinois, I think the rule is that you have to have the light visable from 500ft behind you. The paint I used was purchased on eBay (called "JDM Smoke Paint" or something like that) and after applying, the light shines through very easily and definitely noticable from behind. Plus there is that string of light along the back window that also lights up.

for the people who got a tint shop to do the "light" tint on your tails, what % is light? i keep reading light and medium but what are the percentages?
and if only the white or red parts were done, does it leave an obvious line between the 2 colors? since one part has tint on it and the other doesn't

I know right? dude seriously stop being such a little girl, you shouldnt be only looking at the brake lights of the car in front of you, you should be looking at the car in front of him so you can prepare your self to stop! Thats the oldest trick in the book!
