ebay guy or derspeeds guy? i suspect i will have that problem when it rains with mine (from the ebay guy) because i can see places on the markers where there is no glue holding the clear lense onto the housing.

I'm somewhat disappointed with the seams at the edges (although I haven't experienced the rain yet) I'd like to silicone the backside of the side markers where it pushes up against the car fender - does anyone know of mb-paint-safe silicone or caulking? Or any simple automotive caulk?

Anyone out there who's interested...I ordered both pairs (eBay guy & Derspeed's guy). The quality in my opinion of Derspeed's guy is hands down better! The housing and lens is higher quality and the edge is clear vs. a poorly applied grey & black. In short the clears offered by Derspeed's guy look OEM quality and the eBay looks like China replica quality. No offense to anyone who purchased them and are enjoying them. On the plus side, the eBay guy was really stand-up about with my return and has a 100% feedback rating...and he offers the lens in smoked. Hope that helps...

I ordered the smoked lens from the ebay guy few weeks ago.. pick it up, open it, and imidiately sand it down put some sandable primer and spray it black and clear coat. Didn't have to think much about it.. I don't like the seams around the edges... looks cheap but though it is really better than the stocks. I'm very interested in Deerspeed's dealer but I wanted the smoked lens.. Does anyone know if his dealer carry smoked?

the ebay sale was fast, quick and reliable, i was quite pleased with my purchase, it has poured, ive done pressure wash and so far so good, on condensation, and is completely dry. Over time they might expand, but i'll have to monitor.

thanks for posting that pic. I have iridium. I was going to just get mine painted but i just cant do it. It looks strange so i just went with clear to play it safe. If i dont like that then i can just smoke it out.
