The only gripe I have is as there is no numberpad, I can't do any of the tips which involve pressing numbers or # or *.
And if only I could use the Internet in car with iPhone... not sure why Apple don't allow it!

If you press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your remote simultaneously for a few seconds, the lights will flash. This toggles between unlock/disarm modes. Either all doors will unlock when you hit the unlock button, or just the driver's door will unlock, requiring a second press on the button to open the remaining doors.
Personally I find the feature annoying, but I suppose if it was my wife's car and she parked in sketchy areas, it might be a good idea.

I'm new to this so was wondering if someone can help me out. I had my c220 cdi diesel 58 plate serviced (A) at Dronsfield independent merc specialist in Greater Manchester. Since the service, I've had issues with the accelation being slow, feel like the power has gone. I'm not too sure if Dronsfield garage have caused this. Can the accelartion be affected after Service A? Can it be fixed and by myself? Do I need to take it back to them? I'm concerned that they'll just flog me off saying it's nothing and it's just me.
Any suggestion please?
Thanks,
K

Try the following steps which should reset your vehicle's TCU and it will then begin to adapt to your driving style: ( copying/pasting from another thread).
(1) Get into the driver's seat, and make sure all doors, windows, and sunroof is closed.
(2) Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position. <== Position #2 where all the lights on the dash turn on but NOT to where the engine turns on!
(3) Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
(4) Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.<== I personally keep the gas pedal depressed for 5-10 additional seconds AFTER I turn off the key.
(5) Wait at least two minutes for TCU to reset. (key in) <== Very important to leave the key in the ignition!
Hope this helps...

Thank you for response. It really has helped. Cheers bud.

I think to make the auto tilt work, the mirror switch should be on right side position.

Door lights go off after leaving the door open for approx 5 minutes. Same for boot/trunk light.
The glove compartment has an adjustable vent to allow cooling of its contents.
If you use the key to open the car but don’t actually open a door, the car locks itself after 40 seconds.
COMAND can be used without the key in the ignition. Simply press the “ON” button. Doh! It took me a few months to realise this.
In the above situation, COMAND will request that the engine be started if the battery is being drained too much. You can prolong the usage of COMAND without the engine on by going to the System setting and selecting “Display off” (unless of course you are using the display).
For the mirror adjustment on selecting reverse gear, you need optional P64 “Memory Package”. Look up your VIN to see if you have it.
With the W204 facelift, the aux input is no longer in the glove compartment. There is now a USB and MB media interface connector in the centre console storage compartment. There are 3 supplied cables for the interface connector - 3.5 mm stereo jack, iPod connector (30 pin) and USB socket.
A few differences I’ve noticed between models in different countries...
. Electric seat adjustment sometimes only on the driver’s door, not the passenger’s.
. Convenience opening/closing feature (by using recirculating button) not present.
. Climate controls - “Zone” button verses “Max Cool” button.
. Speed Limit Assist is disabled in some countries.
. Steering wheel on the wrong side - haha

At a stop sign/stop light, etc., when holding down the brake pedal, stomp on the brake pedal once again quickly. This puts the car in HOLD mode (says 'HOLD' under the speedo) and holds the brakes on (including brake lights). Nice for long lines in the drive thru or stubborn traffic signals.

Anyway, some info for the newbies with this question.
