it basically sounds like the ipod adaptor without the amp add-on. so you still need to crank up the volume, but it doesnt sound bad at all.

Does the hill start feature only work when the car is pointing up an incline?

Seems so. Whenever I'm pointed downhill it doesn't work at all .... on the flat, it's hard to tell.

I've noticed that with the hill assist in action, the brake pedal becomes stiff and firm, almost unmovable. I dunno how much of an incline is required, but in normal driving conditions (flat surface), I've never experienced the same.

Ya...You dont need hill start for down hill, You have your front brakes for that. the point of hill start is so your car doesnt roll into the car behind you. If you roll into the car infront of you, ( sorry to say ) but you have to be a real Idiot. When the light goes green the car in front will move and you can release your brake and your car can roll without hitting anything, hense NO need for down hill start assist.

Just to be clear, im not calling You an Idiot, im talking about people in general who might roll into a parked car at an intersection.

Here's one for you. While listening to a cd, the music register or satelite radio, we all know that sometimes you can't read the full title of the song playing. Just press the # button on the dash and you will see the full title and the artist.

Yes, however at exactly what incline angle it kicks in I'm not sure. Probably, on auto cars, when the automatic forward of the car when in first gear is not enough to compensate the incline and to avoid the car rolling backwards.

Also, the hill assist, on auto cars, works on both modes: Sport and Comfort.

WOW - this is the first real secret revealed to me in this thread. Well done in pointing this one out.

How did you stumble upon this? Is it in the manual?

You beat me to it! I found this out by accident a few months ago, but I figured that it was something in the manual that I missed reading. Good looking out.

I am loving the #3. I am happy to know I can open and close all the windows and sunroof. My G35 coupe only opened windows the same way. Very cool.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the AUX jack for?? It seems you were very excited about this.

I literally stumbled across this when I hit the wrong button. It is very cool. I don't know why it is not in the manual.

Actually by pressing the * key, it allows you to then enter a desired track number and the system will jump to that track.

Thanks for clarifying.

These are great finds ... I echo everyone's comments re the # ... awesome!

I also noticed today that the window buttons are placed so close together on the driver's door that with one touch to the centre of the 2 buttons (where L and R meet) you can put both driver's and passenger's side window's down. Works with rear windows as well.

Not a techie find, but usefull.
